We all know people use the internet to search for properties. Now start to think. How do my listings show up on the internet? Where are they ranked on Google? Would it matter if mine were ranked high? Could I use that ranking as a reason to list with me? Keep in mind that landing on the first page of Google is the Holy Grail of internet advertising.
SEO in the context of real estate properties refers to the process of optimizing the code and content of a web page (or entire site) to rank higher in search engine results, that’s landing on “Google” first page in plain terms. The ultimate goal of SEO is, of course, to increase the search traffic to your listing.
You all know how to sell or you would not be in this business. It’s no secret that 20% of the Agents list and sell 80% of the homes. It’s also no secret that leading agents no longer market like they did 10 short years ago. They adopted new technology and approaches to securing listings and making sales. They stay on top even though competition has increased.
So imagine walking into your next listing meeting with a client and being bold enough to show them examples of how you use professional images, how you create unique custom tour videos and then show them where those example properties rank on a Google search. I can virtually gaurantee you no other agent before you or after you will be that bold.
I just Googled three addresses of recent properties we did tours of on our service. You it yourself, search our recent tours and just just type the address into google:
An important note about the other listings on Google first page, when you clicked on the Video Tour links there, they all take you to our tour custom branded to the listing agent. We just captured that client from the other listing service and now they view this property and its details branded to the listing agent.
